CITY have written to all of their suppliers and business partners asking them to help the Club by agreeing to a loyalty discount.

At the Annual General Meeting the Club's efforts to tackle its financial challenges were spelled out to shareholders - and asking suppliers to help by cutting the cost of their goods and services provided to the Canaries was one measure identified.

City Chief Executive David McNally commented: "We enjoy a tremendous and mutually beneficial relationship with our partners and supporters in the business community, and have done throughout the 108-year history of Norwich City.

"The financial position of the Club is no secret - and we're writing to all of our suppliers and partners asking them to help us by renegotiating existing deals or agreeing to more cost-effective new deals with us.

"In some cases we will be putting contracts out to tender to ensure we achieve the best possible value for the Football Club and it's passionate and loyal fanbase.

"Every spare penny raised by this process will go to Paul Lambert's playing budget."
