CITY can confirm defender Rhoys Wiggins will join League Two Bournemouth on loan for a further 28 days.

The left-back has been with the Cherries since the end of January where he has made seven appearances, including their 3-0 victory over Barnet last night.

Wiggins previously spent four months on loan with Bournemouth at the start of 2009 making 13 appearances. The 22-year-old has made only three appearances for City this season following his move from Selhurst Park in the summer, where he started his career.

The 28-day loan period commences from this Friday.
