WIGGINS EXTENDS CHERRIES STAY

Posted on: Thu 01 Apr 2010

CITY can confirm following the Football League lifting the transfer embargo on AFC Bournemouth, defender Rhoys Wiggins has completed a loan move to the League Two side until May 1.

The left-back has had two loan spells with the Cherries already this season, making 10 appearances, and Eddie Howe's side sits fourth in the division.

Wiggins previously spent four months on loan with Bournemouth at the start of 2009 where he made 13 appearances. The 22-year-old has made only three appearances for City this season following his move from Selhurst Park in the summer, where he started his career.
