NORWICH City Football Club's Football in the Community (FITC) is pleased to announce the dates for the 2010 Summer Cup proudly sponsored by Aviva.
This year the ever-popular youth football tournament will be held at the new venue of Redmayne Playing Fields, Norwich on the weekend of the 26th and 27th of June.
Last year Football in the Community welcomed over 200 teams from across the eastern region to the tournament, which is now in its tenth year and is on course to be even more popular in 2010.
Commenting on the popularity of the tournament, FITC Football Development Manager Darran Lovell said: "We really pride ourselves in providing a tournament that is inclusive and creates the right spirit and is enjoyed by all the players, family and spectators who attend and we hope that 2010 will be no exception.
"On the back of a season that has seen Norwich City promoted back into the Championship and the build up to the much anticipated World Cup in full flow. We would like to thank Aviva for once again sponsoring the event and we are all looking forward to hosting one of regions most popular tournaments."

The tournament is open to all boys Under-7 to Under-14 and girls Under-10 to Under-16 clubs of all abilities. A maximum of two teams per club can entered for each age group. Entry cost £15.00 per team. Teams MUST be affiliated to a County FA to enter. Winning teams will win the following prizes.
- Framed souvenir squad photograph
- Trophies for winners and runners-up of competitive events/ participation medals for non-competitive events
- Winners will also receive an exclusive coaching session at Carrow Park.
Visitors to the event will be able to compete against friends and family on our speedkick machine or visit the Aviva sports area. Male spectators over the age of 55 will be able to visit the Ahead of the Game roadshow; a scheme aimed at combating health issues that affect men of this age. To date over 100 men have taken up the offer of a free health check.
