CITY can confirm the Canary players hope to come back out on to the pitch to show their appreciation of the Yellow Army at the end of Saturday's match against Gillingham at Carrow Road, if results go their way and the League One title is secured.
With City's ticket allocation at Charlton last Saturday limited to 3,200, thousands of Canary fans were unable to join in the celebrations at the end of the game when promotion back to the Championship was confirmed thanks to a 1-0 win over the Addicks.
Now the Canaries need just one point from their remaining three Coca-Cola League One fixtures to clinch the title - but Saturday's game is set to be a competitive clash, with the Gills looking to gain more points following Saturday's excellent 3-2 win over City's title rivals Leeds United.
City boss Paul Lambert says the supporters have played a major part in the Club's achievements this season.
"I've said all along that the people who should take the credit for what's happened this season are the players and the fans," he commented.
"The fanbase here is incredible and they have come in their thousands to watch us home and away, rain or shine. We couldn't get any more people into our ground no matter who we were playing and as for the away following, everywhere is a long way to travel from Norfolk, so they have been brilliant."
The Club hopes fans will stay behind after the game to celebrate if City win the title with the players. However, supporters should remember encroachment on to the pitch is not permitted at any time. The squad and the management team will not come out again after the game if any unauthorised people are on the pitch or the perimeter track.
In the event City clinch the title against Gillingham, there will be no formal presentations after Saturday's game.
