THE Anglian Home Improvements Player of the Season as voted for by you, the fans, was won by skipper and leading goalscorer Grant Holt.

The 30-goal striker was presented with the Barry Butler Memorial Trophy before the Carlisle United game on the pitch at Carrow Road.

Second place went to on-loan goalkeeper and the winning of the Players' Player of the Season, Fraser Forster. The stopper on loan from Championship winners Newcastle United has kept 18 clean sheets for City this season.

In third place was the 2006 winner of the trophy defender Gary Doherty, who has chipped in with seven goals this season.

Also presented before the match was the Aviva Fan of the Year prize, which was won by John Bush.
