NORWICH City will start the 2010-11 npower Championship season at Carrow Road against former Canary defender Malky Mackay's Watford on Saturday, August 7.
This will be followed by fixtures against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park, Swansea City at Carrow Road and Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
City boss Paul Lambert said he was looking forward to three reunions in the first four league games: "To get a home game at Carrow Road for the first game is great, after being drawn at home in the Carling Cup yesterday as well.
"Watford will be tough and with Malky Mackay coming back there will be a wee bit about it as well, so I'm looking forward to that one. Then we have Scunthorpe and they did great to stay up last year under Nigel Adkins. Swansea play good football under Paulo Sousa, who I know from my Borussia Dortmund days and then we're off to play Forest which will be a good test.
"It's a funny thing but I played with Billy at Motherwell, Paulo at Dortmund and Malky at Celtic so I've got three games out of the first four games up against guys I played with, so that will be great."
The local derbies against Ipswich Town are scheduled for Saturday, November 27 at Carrow Road and Saturday, April 23 at Portman Road.
The Canaries' Boxing Day fixture sees them travel to the capital to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and Queens Park Rangers are the visitors for the first game of 2011, on New Year's Day.
City's season finale will also be at Carrow Road when Aidy Boothroyd's Coventry City come to town.
