NORFOLK-based building firm and long-term Canary partners RG Carters are once again the driving force behind the Club's push to increase the capacity of Carrow Road.

Carters certainly have the expertise and the experience, having built all four stands currently in place around the Canaries' stadium.

This time round they are hard at work installing approximately 1,000 new seats in each of the four stands, taking the capacity up to 27,000 by the time the project is finished. Carters' workforce started removing seats and concrete at the start of June and are making good progress.

City's Customer Services Manager Richard Gough commented: "The work is continuing apace with the Carters team working flat-out every day to complete the expansion to the highest of standards. It's a major undertaking but the work with them on the project to date has been fantastic - and the extra capacity will be a major boost to the Club both financially and in terms of cranking up the atmosphere even more at Carrow Road on a matchday."

Saul Humphrey, Regional Director and General Manager of RG Carter Limited, pictured with Norwich City Chief Executive David McNally, said: "We are delighted to once more be working back at Carrow Road and to be part of a project which will ensure that as many loyal fans of the club as possible can share in what we all hope will be another successful season for the club."
