GERMAN TOUR DIARY - PART ONE

Posted on: Tue 13 Jul 2010

Guten tag from Germany, where I'm on my last assignment as Web Editor and first as Sports Analyst.

I'll be bringing you a blog from the training camp and hopefully video content and pictures.

The squad travelled down from Colney on Sunday morning and flew out in the afternoon to be greeted by heat, about 35 degrees.

We arrived at the hotel in time for a spot of dinner, German cuisine and afterwards retired to watch the World Cup Final.

On Monday the hard work started with breakfast at 8am and training started at 10am. As predicted the weather was still up around 35 degrees. The morning session was running drills, followed by the dreaded ice bath!

After lunch the balls came out for the afternoon session, as the coaching staff ran some possession drills, crossing and finishing drills followed by a small-sided game before hitting those ice baths again.

Auf wiedersehen
