STRIKER Chris Martin grabbed both goals as City continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 victory over SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 behind closed doors in Germany.

Paul Lambert and his team return from their German training camp this week to prepare for two further away friendlies against Stevenage on Tuesday evening and Dagenham & Redbridge on Thursday, both 7.45pm kick-offs. This is then followed on Saturday, July 24 (3pm) by the visit of Newcastle United at Carrow Road.
