CITY FANS SMASH SEASON TICKET RECORD

Posted on: Tue 03 Aug 2010

CITY'S loyal supporters have smashed the Club record for season tickets sold for a single campaign.

All available season tickets have now been sold, with a staggering 20,550 members of the Yellow Army signed up to watch Paul Lambert's men in action throughout the 2010-11 npower Championship campaign.

The figure is a new Club record and sales have now been capped to allow for casual sales and away allocations. Super Memberships are now the next best way to get tickets to watch City games at Carrow Road.

City boss Lambert told First News: "Our fanbase is phenomenal, it really is. I've said it before, that people from other parts of the country probably don't appreciate it but when you come here you really do. It's massive and the supporters are such a huge part of everything we do here. Now we must aim to reward their loyalty by performing well on the pitch.

"It means everything to myself, the staff and the players, who really appreciate the backing the fans give the Club home and away, across mile after mile."

City's Head of Customer Services, Richard Gough said: "Season tickets have continued to sell well throughout the summer. This means we start next season with a record number of season tickets at Carrow Road and shows once again what incredible support we have at this Club."

For those unable to commit to a season ticket, super memberships are also still available for just £17.50. Super members have first opportunity throughout the season to purchase any available home league match tickets.

To purchase super memberships call 0844 826 1902 or visit the ticket office at Carrow Road in person.
