OPEN DAY 2010

NORWICH City's Open Day passed off successfully with a variety of activities at Carrow Road on August 1.

As usual the Canary players were on hand to meet fans and sign autographs and supporters got the opportunity to have their photograph taken with the League One trophy.

During the afternoon presentations were made by representatives of both Norwich-based and exiled supporter groups who presented their 2009-10 Player of the Year winners with their trophies. City youngsters Korey Smith and George Francomb and skipper Grant Holt were the winners.

Friends of Norwich City Youth helped raise thousands of pounds through their auction of Norwich City memorabilia and sale of Canary team wear - also on hand to help them was former City star Darren Huckerby.

As usual the event finished with a supporter forum, this year hosted by former player Neil Adams, where Canary fans could ask their questions to City Chief Executive David McNally, Chief Scout Ewan Chester, Club Captain Grant Holt and Customer Services Manager Richard Gough.
