Defender Rhoys Wiggins joined from Crystal Palace on a two-year contract in July 2009.
Wiggins, a left-sided defender, progressed through the youth and reserve team ranks at Selhurst Park before making his first team debut for the Eagles in October 2008.
The young defender also gained valuable experience with a loan spell at League Two Bournemouth at the end of last season. He made 13 appearances for the Dean Court club as the Cherries successfully maintained their league status.
Wiggins made his City debut in the 1-0 win over Gillingham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Priestfield Stadium in October 2009.
London-born, Wiggins is of Welsh nationality and has been capped by his country at under-21 level.
Rhoys joined Bournemouth for his second loan spell in January 2010 for 28 days, which was extended by a further 28 days on Friday, February 26.
