The young left-sided player from Southwark, London returned to Carrow Road on loan in the summer of 2008, having originally made nineteen league appearances during a loan spell in the second-half of the 2007/08 season.
Ryan, an England under-19 international is an attacking left-back, having been converted from a winger since signing for Chelsea in July 2005 from Gillingham.
Before joining the Canaries, Bertrand spent time on loan at Bournemouth and Oldham.
