The young midfielder from Stevenage signed a professional contract with the Canaries in January 2008. Lathrope joined the Club's Academy as a first year scholar in 2007.
He has scored twice for the first team in non-competitive matches, the first in a benefit match for injured King's Lynn midfielder Shaun Carey at The Walks in October 2006. Lathrope was part of the squad, and a second-half substitute appearance ended with him scoring City's third and final goal in a 3-0 win. He repeated the trick scoring at The Walks in a pre-season friendly in July 2007 in City's 4-0 win.
