JAMIE CURETON

Posted on: Fri 09 Nov 2007

Q: How did it feel when you scored your brace against Barnet, your first back on home soil? Adam Ruskin, Gorleston
JAMIE: It felt really good. Obviously it was a big occasion for me playing my first game for Norwich in thirteen years and to score the two goals was a brilliant highlight.

Q: You have played for quite a few teams in your career, so which club (excluding Norwich) has been your favourite club that you have played for? Sebastian Lock, Lowestoft
JAMIE: I had very good years at Colchester and Reading but I would have to say Bristol Rovers purely because they are my hometown club and the team I was brought up on. To play for them with my friends and family watching was a great feeling.

Q: Who is the best strike partner you've played with and the most difficult defender you've played against? Steve Copeman
JAMIE: The defender would be playing against Tony Adams in my first spell at Norwich and strike partner would be Jason Roberts at Bristol Rovers, we complemented each other well.

Q: How did it feel to collect the golden boot award recently?
Jamie Pizey Acle
JAMIE: That was one of my biggest achievements on a personal level. I had two tough years previously and then joined Colchester who weren't expected to do well in the Championship. So to win the golden boot is up there with my top achievements.

Q: When you were younger was there any team in particular that you dreamed of playing for? Natalie Smith, Bury St. Edmunds
JAMIE: I supported Manchester United as a kid. I had a chance to join them when I had been at Norwich for a couple of years. But I was settled here and wanted to stay.

Q: FIFA or Pro Evolution Soccer? Xbox360 or PS3? Cris Reynolds, Newmarket
JAMIE: Pro Evo without a doubt. I have both consoles but I'll get the new Pro Evo on my PS3.

Q: What do you see yourself doing in ten years time?
Sue Read, Gorleston-on-Sea.
JAMIE: I'd like to stay in football, whether that be in or around the football side of it or the media side of the game, I quite like the idea of commentating on tv and radio. I was one of those kids where if it hadn't been for football I'd have been in a lot of trouble so I'd probably like to stay in the game to give something back.

Q: Will you be dying your hair green again for the derby game?
Gemma Simpson, Norwich
JAMIE: (laughs) No, I would love to do it again, but the timing and the situation would need to be right like if we were top of the league and I'd scored twenty or thirty goals!
