Minutes of meeting on November 24, 2008


1. APOLOGIES

Apologies were received from Roy Blower, Peter Anderson, Richard Bland and Mark Burchett.

2. MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2008

The minutes were agreed.

3. MATTERS ARISING

Questions were asked about the Club's response to the Government announcement that VAT was being reduced by two-and-a-half per cent. It was confirmed that the Club was in the process of analysing this and making a policy decision. (Note: Subsequently the Club reduced casual ticket prices and the main merchandise lines, in line with the VAT cut.)

4. WORKING GROUP UPDATES

The Pricing Group have completed their meetings and R. Gough will be putting the 2009-10 pricing proposal to the Board on December 11.

W. Hoy to organise meetings in the new year for the Young Supporters and Image and Identity working groups.

5. FUTURE OF SCG

A discussion took place about the future of the SCG. J. Ferrari will prepare a paper for further discussion at the next meeting.

6. ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Club ownership - D. Thornton enquired about Delia's statement at the AGM and investment offers made or not made to the Club. N. Doncaster reiterated the line stated publicly at the AGM, which was that no offers had been received for Delia and Michael's shares.

The next full SCG meeting to take place on March 9, 2009.
