CITY FANS ENJOY AVIVA FANS' FORUM

Posted on: Wed 05 Aug 2009

ON SATURDAY, February 21, prior to the Burnley match, main sponsors Aviva hosted a unique fans' forum event for 200 City fans in the Russell Allison Lounge.

Following on from the handout of 10,000 scarves at the first home match against Blackpool this season, Aviva were keen to stage another fan-based event and interact with some of City's supporters, continuing their fantastic work in partnership with the Club.

The forum was compered by the Club's Community Ambassador, Jeremy Goss. He was joined on stage by Canary legend Darren Eadie, local comedian Karl Minns and Sky Sports presenter Simon Thomas.

Fans had the chance to ask general football questions to the panel and discussions were varied, engaging and often humorous following some amusing remarks from Karl Minns, part of the local comedy act, The Nimmo Twins.

After 45 minutes of football chat and discussion, the fans were all treated to food and drink and were given the chance to enter a Norwich City quiz, compiled by Kevin Piper. Four lucky winners walked away with some great prizes including Mark Fotheringham's 59ers shirt, worn in the FA Cup this season.
