The response to the Community Chest Challenge, which invited you to nominate a Norfolk or Waveney Valley-based charity to win Norwich City sponsorship for a day, has been exceptional, and the shortlist can now been announced.

More than 40 charities were put forward for the competition, run by Aviva and the EDP, and the judges were faced with the difficult challenge of whittling them down to five
finalists, which will now go to the public vote. These are:

The drug and alcohol charity provides a range of services for both adults and young people, helping them to control the effect their addictions have on their lives, and ultimately to beat them.
