GAME OF TWO HALVES
What is it?
Aimed at more able and talented pupils, A Game of Two Halves is a full day of activities split between Norwich City's brand-new Community Sports facility Carrow Park and the excellently resourced Study Centre situated within Carrow Road itself.
How will it benefit my pupils?
The day will offer extension and enrichment to P.E., Citizenship, English and Maths. Through dynamic and complex mental and physical challenges, pupils will extend their effective team-work skills and will develop a passion for problem solving.
What will the day entail?
The session at Carrow Park will be run by a qualified Football In The Community Sports Coach.Pupils will take part in fun co-ordination improving activities before being challenged, in groups, with planning and delivering a coaching session on a specific football skill.
The session in the Study Centre will challenge pupils to demonstrate higher levels of thinking, and present sophisticated responses to a real problem. Like TVs 'The Apprentice' they will take on real job-roles and compete to make the most profit for a pop-concert at Carrow Road. Will their company be hired or fired?
