WE'RE BACKING CITY - PAPERCLIP
LOCAL stationery supplier Paperclip is the latest company to sign up to the 'We're Backing City' campaign.
The Great Yarmouth-based firm is one of the largest office equipment providers in the UK and became the Club's official supplier earlier this year.
In addition to this Paperclip have also become involved with the Club's annual corporate events - the Golf Day and Canary 6s, where they will be bringing a team to take part in the golfing and football tournaments. They also have two advertising boards at Carrow Road, therefore increasing their annual spend as well as helping to save Norwich City money on their company stationery bill.
Danny Western, Sales Account Manager of Paperclip commented: "We initially approached the Club to see if we could provide a cost-saving to their previous stationery provider and this has now led to us becoming official supplier to Norwich City and getting involved with other activities and business opportunities.
"We see this as potentially a long-term relationship and one that provides us with good publicity through our advertising at Carrow Road and helps the Club save money on their general office supplies."
Norwich City Advertising and Sponsorship Sales Executive Phil Lythgoe added: "We are delighted with the partnership that has developed between Norwich City and Paperclip, not only helping us with on-going savings with our office stationery requirements but helping support several corporate initiatives and events.
"This has benefits for both parties, enabling Paperclip to promote their company to customers and new business clients at Carrow Road and for us to provide much-needed extra income for the Football Club at this challenging time. We very much hope the relationship continues to grow and would like to thank everyone at Paperclip for their support."

The 'We're Backing City' campaign was launched at the beginning of July, with the Club working hard with all of its business partners, clients and suppliers to see if they can identify pro-active ways they can help during this challenging time for Norwich City.
Main Club sponsors Aviva kicked off the initiative by agreeing to extend their sponsorship of the Canaries to a fourth year and taking on sponsorship of the Geoffrey Watling City Stand.
Other partners of the Club are following suit by negotiating new deals, re-negotiating existing deals and exploring ways to help the Canaries cut their costs.
Any companies who are able to support the initiative will be able to use the 'We're Backing City' logo in their publicity material.
