THE Club is making efforts where practical to try and operate as a more environmentally friendly organisation.
Below is a list of the measures that have been taken to date:
- Waste recycling increased from 30% to 93% through change of supplier for general waste disposal - waste is separated and elements recycled where possible e.g. paper, plastic.
- Recycling points are situated around the stadium, including paper and cardboard stations in Club offices.
- The Club pledges to use paper from sustainable sources for its matchday programme and marketing products.
- Norwich City Football Club carrier bags are made of recyclable plastic.
- Hand driers have been fitted in washroom areas and in concourses to eliminate the use of paper towels.
- Staff are regularly reminded of the need to conserve energy where possible (i.e. switching off PCs, monitors, lights etc).
