MATT Jarvis joined City on a permanent basis from West Ham United in January 2016, following a successful loan spell where he scored twice in six appearances.

The winger had netted six times in 90 matches for the Hammers prior to initially joining the Canaries on a temporary basis, having previously moved to the East London outfit from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a reported record fee of £10.75m in 2012.

The 29-year-old has also earned international recognition with England, featuring for the Three Lions in a 2011 friendly against Ghana at Wembley Stadium.

He began his career at Gillingham, where he played 122 times prior to beginning a five-year spell at Molineux in the summer of 2007.

As of the start of the 2016-17 season, Jarvis had made 21 appearances in all competitions for City, scoring twice.
