Norwich City earlier completed the signing of striker Nelson Oliveira from Benfica on a four-year deal, subject to approval from the relevant football authorities.
A product of the Benfica youth system, his senior debut came in 2010 having moved on loan to Portuguese first division side Rio Ave.
His maiden goal came while on loan to Pacos de Ferreira in September 2010, before starring at the 2011 Under-20 World Cup by scoring four times - including in the Final against eventual winners Brazil where he also laid on two assists.
Oliveira's performances during the tournament saw him awarded the Silver Ball as the competition's second best player, and he subsequently made his first Benfica appearance in a Portuguese Cup match in October 2011.
Having amassed over 70 caps at youth level for Portugal, he made his debut for the senior side as a substitute during a 0-0 friendly draw in Poland in February 2012, featuring for the final ten minutes.
The next month he made his Champions League bow for Benfica, coming off the bench to score the final goal in the home leg against Zenit St Petersburg to take his side into the quarter-finals.
Included in Portugal's Euro 2012 squad, the striker made three substitute appearances as his nation reached the semi-final stage before losing out to eventual champions Spain on penalties.
He spent the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons on loan to Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna and French outfit Rennes respectively, scoring 12 times in total across both spells.
The frontman completed a similar switch to Premier League side Swansea City from January 2015; going on to score once in four top-flight starts for the Swans.
Spending the most recent campaign on loan to Championship side Nottingham Forest, Oliveira struck nine goals in 28 league appearances - including a notable winner against local rivals Derby County.
