Young Canaries beaten 3-1 away from home

NORWICH City's Under-18s were beaten 3-1 by Brighton & Hove Albion in their second game of the season in extreme conditions on the south coast.

The Seagulls opened the scoring after just 11 seconds, with their second goal coming 25 minutes in, a 35-yard wonder strike to make it 2-0.

Two minutes into the second half City's Kieran Higgs cut in off the right hand side, and finish with his left foot to reduce the goal margin to just one.

Brighton's third goal came when City's sustained pressure was broken, giving away a penalty after 72 minutes.
