Midfielder reflects on Cherries lossNORWICH City must respond to Saturday's 3-0 Barclays Premier League defeat at Bournemouth, according to midfielder Jonny Howson.
A below-par Canaries performance saw them well beaten on the South Coast, with the Cherries overtaking City in the league standings in the process.
Speaking to Norwich City TV after the game, Howson said: "We're disappointed as obviously it's a bad day at the office for us.
"Bournemouth deserved the win but it's hard to take. When you play the teams around you, you want to pick up points and we didn't turn up.
"We never got going to the standards we've set over the past few weeks. We'll review it, see where we went wrong and try to put things right next Saturday."
Howson believes a period of reflection is required before making a full assessment of the result, and added: "Everyone reacts in their own way, but you can't affect it now whatever you do.
"After a result like that sometimes emotions are high and you're hurting. It's probably best to review it once that's settled down, because you can identify where it went wrong.
"We've always reacted well to any disappointments we've had this season. We're going to have to do that again.
"It's a good bunch of lads here and we're all going to have pull in the same direction."
