REPORT: FULHAM 2-2 U18s

22 April 2017

City youngsters held to a draw

NORWICH City's Under-18s played out a 2-2 draw with Fulham at the Cottagers' Motspur Park Training Ground on Saturday.

David Wright's young Canaries made the perfect start, going in front inside 120 seconds when Alan Fleming took advantage of a defensive slip to fire home.

They doubled their lead shortly after the 20 minute mark, Owen Wallis climbing highest to head into the net from a corner.

Fulham pulled a goal back before the interval, Reece York reducing the deficit having been picked out by Mikolaj Kwietniewski.

City threatened to restore their two goal advantage in the second period, with Agust Hlynsson and Jaden Thompson-Brissett both going close.

However, the hosts ultimately rescued a point late on when Isaac Pearce slid the ball beyond Fergal Hale-Brown to ensure the Premier League Under-18s contest ended all-square.
