Wes Hoolahan says a decade's worth of pre-seasons at Norwich City has come and gone faster than he could have ever imagined.
First moving to Carrow Road from Blackpool in the summer of 2008, Hoolahan is among Daniel Farke's current senior squad for a week-long training camp in Germany ahead of his tenth campaign in yellow and green.
"It's strange because when the first one happens you never think you'll get to ten years," Hoolahan told canaries.co.uk.
"Time flies by pretty quickly. I remember we didn't go too far away the year I joined but this year we've been away twice.
"It was nice to go Ireland for the first time with Norwich. We had a good week and it was great preparation for the season.
"Now we're in Germany and enjoying ourselves out here."
While a new coaching structure has brought about changes on the training field, Hoolahan had always been prepared for an extensive workload in the build-up to the Sky Bet Championship programme.
"In pre-season it's usually double sessions all the time," the Republic of Ireland international explained.
"The boys are enjoying the sessions that are put on and how we go about things. It's been good to welcome the new players as well.
"The likes of myself, Russ [Martin] and Steven Naismith are experienced so play a part in that. They're all fitting into the squad and taking on board everything the Head Coach wants to do."
