Danel Sinani and Carlton Morris both scored for their clubs this week, with five out of six City loanees getting wins under their belts.
Sinani scored the second goal for Waasland-Beveren in Tuesday’s 2-0 win at home to Oostende, putting the former 17th in the Belgian Pro League.
MK Dons had to come from behind to draw 2-2 with Shrewsbury Town, Morris getting the first goal for Russell Martin’s side and making an instant impact after coming on as a half-time substitute.
Cameron Jerome’s equaliser ensured the points were shared and MK Dons went to 17th in League One.
In the Swiss Super League, Timm Klose continued his run in the defence of FC Basel, who beat Lausanne 2-1 on Wednesday to move up to fifth.
Sam McCallum, meanwhile, was part of the Coventry City defence to keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 win at home to Cardiff City, moving the Sky Blues to 21st in the Championship ahead of their game against Norwich City on Saturday.
Elsewhere in the Championship, Tom Trybull played the first 60 minutes of Blackburn Rovers’ 3-0 win away to Preston North End on Tuesday. Tony Mowbray’s side are now 12th in the league.
Finally, Caleb Richards played the full 90 minutes of Kidderminster Harriers’ 3-0 win at home to Alfreton Town. The result puts Harriers second in the National League North and six points behind leaders Gloucester City.
