MARLEY Watkins joined Norwich City on a free transfer in July 2017, following the expiration of his contract at Barnsley.

Originally involved in Swansea City's youth team, his breakthrough came at Cheltenham Town where he became the club's youngest ever league player.

After a loan spell at Bath City he penned permanent terms in January 2011, before joining Hereford United 18 months later.

Ahead of the 2013-14 season the versatile attacking player moved to Scottish side Inverness Caledonian Thistle, where he notably won the Scottish Cup.

In June 2015 he returned to English football with Barnsley, helping The Tykes win the Johnstone Paint Trophy as well as earn promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.

His move to Carrow Road came after netting 10 times in the second tier for Barnsley during the 2016-17 campaign.
