CARLTON Morris was one of the star players in Norwich City's FA Youth Cup triumph of 2013.

The powerful forward scored a hat-trick in the quarter-final victory over Everton at Goodison Park, before leading the line in the semi-final against Nottingham Forest and the final versus Chelsea.

His promise earned him his first professional contract that December when he signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Canaries.

In July 2014, Morris moved on loan to League Two side Oxford United, where he scored once in ten appearances. He then secured a temporary switch to York City, where he played a further eight times, all as a substitute.

He made his City debut in March 2015, appearing as a substitute against Wigan Athletic.

Shortly after agreeing a fresh deal at Carrow Road in the summer of 2015, it was revealed that Morris would spent the following season on loan at Alex Neil's former team Hamilton Academical.

After scoring on his third appearance for the Accies, he went on to net seven more times for Martin Canning's men.

Morris joined Rotherham United on loan in January 2017, playing eight times as the Millers dropped out of the Sky Bet Championship.

In July 2017, it was announced he would be spending the season ahead on loan to Shrewsbury Town.
