Kenny McLean has been at the heart of the Norwich City midfield for the past two seasons.
Playing at the base of the midfield Kenny has proved good a breaking up play as well as finding a killer assist for those in front of him.
He played 42 games for the Canaries during the 2019/20 Premier League campaign and netted the opening goal in a memorable 3-2 win over Manchester City at Carrow Road that season.
The following campaign, when we were back in the Championship, Kenny played 39 times, as Norwich recorded a record points total of 97. He scored three goals and provided seven assists from a deep lying midfield position during the campaign.
He has excelled for Scotland. He scored the winning penalties for his country as they beat Isreal and Serbia to secure qualification for Euro 2020 via play-offs. It was the first major tournament that Scotland had qualfied for since the World Cup in 1998, but sadly Kenny missed the tournament itself due to a knee ligament injury suffered in the last game of the season at Barnsley.
