The Partner Club Programme has been developed to work in partnership and support local Clubs across each region the Norwich City FC Regional Development Programme operates and delivers its coaching provision.
Selected partner clubs have the opportunity to work with Norwich City FC through a tailored package which includes the support and delivery of a U13-U16 Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA) squad process. This will allow for gifted and talented boys in each region to train and play regularly together competitively but within a positive, learning environment representing the chosen Club.
The support packages include; recruitment and coaching of the EJA squads, fixture & festival events, continuous professional development opportunities with coaches, managers and club members, as well as a pathway for talented boys to progress within each Club’s programme and the Norwich City FC pathway.
The EJA is widely considered the highest level of football outside of Academy football and covers Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and London. Matches take place midweek and on Sundays. Players selected for the squads will be asked to commit exclusively to their Club with regards to Sunday football commitments.
Boys identified for this programme will train once/twice a week and may continue with additional Norwich City FC RDP programmes alongside their EJA Squad training and fixtures should they be invited to attend.
