City at home to Rovers in third round of Capital One Cup

CITY have been drawn at home to face Doncaster Rovers in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

The tie will be played on the week commencing September 24. 

The Canaries progressed into the third round this week with a 2-1 win over League One side Scunthorpe United. A first goal in five years for Simon Lappin and a Wes Hoolahan penalty confirmed their place in the third round for the first time since 2007.

Rovers progressed into the third round with a 3-2 win over local rivals Hull City, a last minute strike from David Syers earning the win for Rovers. 

Fixture date, kick-off time and ticket details will be announced on as soon as they are confirmed.
