Midfielder Andrew Crofts re-joins old club
CITY can confirm that midfielder Andrew Crofts has re-joined former club Brighton & Hove Albion on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year old made 70 appearances for the Canaries, making 59 starts and 11 substitute appearances since joining the Club in the summer of 2010.
He marked his debut for the Canaries with a goal against Watford on the opening day of the npower Championship season in August 2010 and went on to net eight goals for Norwich during his two seasons at Carrow Road.
The Welsh international proved to be a key figure in City’s 2010-11 promotion year, starting 44 of City’s 46 games and netted a memorable brace in the 2-0 victory over Barnsley at Oakwell.
His second goal at Oakwell proved to be a front runner for goal of the season that year, hitting a stunning volley on the turn - which brought back memories of Justin Fashanu’s goal of the season against Liverpool in 1980.
