City to play Peterborough United at London Road in FA Cup
City have been drawn to face npower Championship outfit Peterborough United at London Road in the third round of the FA Cup with Budweiser.City Manager Chris Hughton told Canaries.co.uk: "First and foremost I’m pleased for our supporters, as it’s not too far to travel.
"If you are going to play away from home you want to avoid a draw against another Premier League team, and we’ve been fortunate in the Capital One Cup to have home draws so the law of averages says that this one was going to go against us.
"Peterborough will be dangerous because they’ll be lifted by the fact they are playing against Premier League opposition and we know how the FA Cup can affect teams.
"Some might say it was a bit of a premonition, but I was there at London Road only yesterday actually, because it was an opportunity to watch a game, and there aren't too many places you can get to in time for kick-off on a Saturday after training."
