City loan striker called-up by Stuart Pearce

CITY’s deadline day loan signing Harry Kane has been called up to the England under-21 squad for their upcoming clash with Norway.

With Stuart Pearce’s side currently already out in Azerbaijan ready for their first clash in Baku on Friday, Kane will join up with the squad upon their return ready for the young lions second qualification match against Norway at Chesterfield’s Proact Stadium on Monday.

The 19-year old comes in as a replacement for the withdrawing Jack Rodwell and former Canary loanee Henri Lansbury and will join up with City's Declan Rudd and Ryan Bennett already out on duty with the squad.

Kane will be in search of his first cap at under-21 level having previously represented his country at both England under-17 and under-19 levels. He has got 14 caps for the under-19s in total, scoring six goals.
