Korey Smith joins Yeovil on three-month loan deal
Smith joins Gary Johnson’s side ahead of a trip to MK Dons on Saturday, with the Glovers currently sitting in fourth place in the league.
The 21-year-old Academy product signed a one-year contract extension with the Club in the summer, after first signing as a professional in 2008.
Last season the Hatfield-born youngster  appeared 12 times for Championship side Barnsley during a three-month loan spell, making his debut in Barnsley's 3-2 win over Derby County and chipping in with two assists as well as claiming the Man of the Match award in a memorable game on his birthday.
His senior debut for the City came as a substitute in a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on April 4, 2009 at Carrow Road, with his full debut arriving a month later - away to Charlton Athletic at The Valley on May 3.
Smith scored his first senior City goal in the 5-2 win over Wycombe Wanderers at Carrow Road in August 2009, a powerful drive from 25 yards, on only his third appearance for the Club.
The League One title-winning 2009-10 season proved to be a breakthrough season for Korey as he made 40 appearances at the heart of the City midfield, and Smith added to that experience by making 28 appearances in City's 2010-11 Championship campaign.Â
