City trio set for Under-19s duty

JOSH Murphy is one of three City youngsters to have been called-up for international duty next month.

The winger, who had a senior debut to remember against Watford on Tuesday when his sensational strike started the Canaries' comeback to win 3-2 in the Capital One Cup tie, will be joined by Carlton Morris in England's Under-19 squad for their upcoming UEFA Euro Championship qualifiers next month.

Development squad captain Cameron McGeehan will join up with Northern Ireland's Under-19s for their matches against Belgium, France and Iceland between October 10 and 15.

Murphy and Morris will hope to play a part for Noel Blake's Lions when they take on Slovenia, Andorra and Switzerland over the same dates.

Both featured, with Morris scoring his debut, when England beat Estonia 6-1 in Tallinn in a friendly on September 5.
