Youth team in narrow defeat

THE Canaries' Under-18s lost 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers in their first game since manager Neil Adams took over the reins of the first-team.

Jerry Gill and Darren Huckerby took charge of the youngsters as Regan Upton's goal proved enough for the hosts to earn all three points.

The defeat left them in eighth place in the 11-team Barclays Under-18s Premier League.

They will welcome Newcastle United to Colney Training Centre for the final game of the season  on Saturday April 26 (11am).

NORWICH CITY: Killip; Efete, Boateng (Black), Fox, Lokko (c), Burgess, Hodd, Randall, Cole, Byrne-Hewitt (Higgs), Simpson (Ashley-Seal). Subs not used: Couzens, Walters.
