Jerry Gill's team face crucial final game
NORWICH City's Development Squad will be hoping to secure a top-half finish in the Under-21s Premier League this evening - and with it a spot in next season's Elite Group - when they take on Wolves at New Buck's Head on Tuesday (7pm).A win from their final game would guarantee qualification, while a draw would also leave Reading and/or Arsenal needing two wins, plus a goal difference swing, from their final two matches to usurp the Canaries.
Coach Jerry Gill said: "That's our aim - to get into the top group for next season. We knew after we drew at Manchester United last week that we'd ourselves a good chance.
"We're going there with a mindset to win the game. We've looked at them over the last couple of days and we have a gameplan, so hopefully we'll secure that 11th spot or higher."
We'll be providing live minute-by-minute updates from the game on Canaries Wall, plus a full match report and reaction on canaries.co.uk after the final whistle.
