Under-21 Canaries beaten in opening match of league campaign.
CITY’s Under-21s were beaten 3-0 away to Manchester United in their opening game of their 2014-15 Barclay’s Under-21s Premier League campaign.Tom Lawrence and Patrick McNair put United two-nil up at the break before Josh Harrop added a third in the second half to complete a convincing win for the home side.
The match, played at the Leigh Sports Village complex in front of a crowd of 1,662, was the first for the Canaries under the leadership of new Under-21s boss Dale Brooks.
City’s Under-21s are next set to travel to Chelsea in the league on Sunday August 24th with the match taking place at the Recreation Ground in Aldershot, Hampshire.
