Irish international agrees two-year contract at Carrow Road

NORWICH City are pleased to announce that long-serving midfielder Wes Hoolahan has signed a new two-year deal at the club.

The new contract will keep Hoolahan at City through to the end of the 2015-16 season.

"I'm delighted to have signed," he told after having put pen-to-paper at Carrow Road.

"Obviously last year it was a bad season for me but I came back in for the pre-season and the manager spoke to me and talked me through his plans.

"Now I just can't wait to get started and I'm delighted to be here for another couple of seasons."

City boss Neil Adams also expressed his satisfaction with Hoolahan's decision to commit again to the Canaries.

"I'm absolutely delighted Wes has agreed to sign a new deal. He's a fantastic player who can make a big impact for us this season and he will be an integral part of our squad," Adams said.

In his six seasons with City, Hoolahan has made a total of 213 appearances for the club scoring 37 goals for the Canaries in all competitions during that period.
