Midfielder to make return from back injury for Under-21 side

JONNY Howson will make his return from injury when he plays for Norwich City’s Under-21s against Everton at Carrow Road on Tuesday (7pm kick-off).

The central midfielder has been missing with a back problem since December 15 but is set to start for Mark Robson’s side as he looks to build up his match fitness ahead of the Premier League run-in.

He had starred for the Canaries in his 16 appearances before his absence, and was an unused substitute during Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Luciano Becchio will also play in the match having featured four times for Chris Hughton’s first team this season.

Clubs are allowed to include up to three over-age outfield players in their squad for Barclays Under-21s Premier League games, as well as one over-age goalkeeper.

Robson’s youngsters will be looking to bounce back after their 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion last time out. They currently sit in 13th place in the 22-team national league.

Seats will be available in the Jarrold Stand for this match, priced at £3 or free for priority members.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online, by telephone on 0844 826 1902 or in person from the Ticket Office at Carrow Road or the Canary Stores at Chapelfield and The Mall.

Tickets will be available from the Carrow Road ticket office on the evening of the game. We advise fans to buy in advance or arrive early to avoid queues.

Car parking will be available at the stadium on a first come, first served basis.
