8 February 2014

Youngsters secure first win in five

NORWICH City's Under-18s registered their first win since January 4, beating Leicester City 2-1 at Belvior Drive.

Rhys Browne edged the Canaries in front after just eleven minutes with a smart turn and finish from the edge of the box.

Simonas Stankevicius levelled proceedings with an excellent finish from Ben Chilwell's cross four minutes later, but Neil Adams' side regained the lead just moments after.

Browne slid in Ben Wyatt, who in turn found Harrison Heath, who netted what turned out to be the winner.

City had a chance to make the victory margin more comfortable when they were awarded a penalty five minutes from time, but Jake Simpson's spot-kick was saved by Liam Sharpe.
