Clinical second half from Tottenham condemns youngsters to defeat

THE Canaries' Under-18s led at half-time against Tottenham Hotspur but eventually fell to a 3-1 defeat at Hotspur Way.

Lewis Byrne-Hewitt slotted Neil Adams' side ahead moments before the break in windy conditions in north London.

The hosts responded eight minutes into the second period, with Cy Goddard levelling by clipping a shot beyond Ben Killip.

They then took the lead through Emmanuel Sonupe on the hour mark, before Anthony Georgiou converted Sonupe's cross at the back-post to wrap up the points.

The result left City 8th in the 11-team South Group in the Under-18s Premier League, with a trip to Leicester City facing them next weekend (February 8).

NORWICH CITY: Killip; Efete, Burgess, Awuah, Wyatt; Grant; Heath, Randall; Byrne-Hewitt; Cole (Simpson 58), Browne. Subs not used: Oxborough (GK), Scales, Couzens, Boateng.
