Youngster in short-term deal with Hatters

UNDER-21s captain Cameron McGeehan has joined Skrill Conference Premier leaders Luton Town on a one month youth loan.

The Northern Ireland Under-21s international links up immediately with John Still's side and is eligible for their league game with Wrexham at Kenilworth Road this Saturday.

Midfielder McGeehan, 18, led the Canaries' Under-18s in their FA Youth Cup triumph last year - scoring in each leg of the Final against Chelsea - and has netted twice in 12 games for Mark Robson's U21s this season.

Academy Manager Ricky Martin said: "It's a great opportunity for Cameron to experience senior football for a month.

"He's also going joining up with a successful squad who are currently top of the league, which is very rare and will without doubt help his development a lot."

U21s teammate Jamar Loza recently moved on a similar deal to League One high-flyers Leyton Orient, and has made two appearances up to now.
