TWO CHANGES FOR CITY

1 January 2014

Turner returns from suspension for Palace game

CHRIS Hughton made two changes to his Norwich City line-up for the New Year's Day trip to Crystal Palace.

Michael Turner returned from his one game suspension to replace Ryan Bennett in central defence, while Steven Whittaker took the place of Russell Martin at right-back.

As expected, Gary Hooper had no issues with the hamstring concern that forced his early withdrawal from the Manchester United game - the former Celtic man started up front with Wes Hoolahan in the most advanced midfield position.

NORWICH CITY: Ruddy; Whittaker, Turner, Bassong (c), Olsson; Fer, Johnson; Snodgrass, Hoolahan, Redmond; Hooper. Subs: Bunn (GK), Martin, van Wolfswinkel, Elmander, Becchio, R Bennett, Josh Murphy.
