Norwich City's travelling squad confirmed for Italy training camp.

CITY'S tour party departed to Italy today, taking a 24-man squad to a training camp based at Chatillon St Vincent.

The squad for the trip will not include striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel after the Dutch striker picked up an injury in training late in the week.

After bagging a brace in City's 6-1 win over Braintree on Tuesday, van Wolfswinkel suffered a knee injury at Colney which rules him out of the Italy tour.

City boss Neil Adams commented: "Ricky unfortunately took a heavy knock to his knee in training. He's had a scan last night (Thursday) and thankfully it's not a serious cartilage injury, but it is bruised to the bone and he will stay at Colney receiving treatment while we are away."
