City boss reacts to Sky Bet Championship releaseCITY will kick off their 2014-15 Sky Bet Championship campaign with a trip to face newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, August 9.
Two home games in the space of four days follow for the Canaries, with Watford and Blackburn Rovers the visitors to Carrow Road on Saturday, August 16 and Tuesday, August 19 respectively.
Fans do not have long to wait for the eagerly-awaited return of the East Anglian derby, with Neil Adams’ side making the short journey along the A140 to face Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Saturday, August 23.
Later in the season City will entertain Millwall on Boxing Day, with the return game against Ipswich at Carrow Road scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 28. A home clash against Fulham on May 2 is the last scheduled league fixture of the season.*
City boss Neil Adams said: “Some people will say they are quite tough opening fixtures but I expect all of the games to be tough. What we’re about is getting people to look at when they are playing us and saying ‘that will be a tough one’. We are certainly looking forward to it and we’ll be approaching every game with confidence.
“Molineux is always a tough place to go and of course the local derby comes pretty early on as well. It’s up to us to be on our toes and ready for those games and all of the rest.
“Once again our fantastic fans will have their part to play and with their help we want to make Carrow Road a very difficult place to come to, as it has been in previous seasons.”
